“The Holy Face” artwork by Richard L George, was made by special request for a portrait version of my original artwork, “The Divine Mercy” image.

The face was created using the imprinted face found on the Shroud of Turin as the foundational facial model for the artwork.

The several years that I worked as a 3d modeler gave me a keener insight into how the image left on the Shroud, now pictured flat, would have mapped-out over the curvatures of the actual physical features when draped over the face.

“The Holy Face” Print has a premium luster finish. Using archival, Ultrachrome inks it comes printed on high quality Giclée paper.

I made some additional changes to the garments for the final image. The face was created using the imprinted face found on the Shroud of Turin as the foundational facial map for the artwork.
